Hobbies: Spending time with friends and family, singing, writing songs, playing the piano & guitar, all outdoor activities and photography.
Minister of 38 yrs. performed over a 1000 of Wedding Ceremonies. Also a professional singer. Before he met his wife, Scott wrote a duet titled: "Fulfilled By A Love That's True". Following this, he went to a music camp in the Texas Hill Country. For the talent show, he asked a girl to sing his duet with him. Together, they prepared to sing the song but ended up NOT doing so. A year from that date they were married at that camp and sang that song to each other on their wedding day and the title of the song CAME TRUE: "Fulfilled By A Love That's True"! Since that day, Scott loves Weddings w/ all his heart!
Accomplishments: To the Glory of his Lord, throughout his 35 years as a Minister, Scott has been a Senior Pulpit Minister, Youth Minister, Worship Leader and Deacon, Evangelist & CEO of Foreign Evangelism Correspondence. Also Scott and his beautiful wife, Anna, many years ago were parents to 7 children at Sunny Glen Children’s Home and Scott has had the honor of being the Director of Development for Central Texas Children’s Home which gave him the opportunity to preach all around the State of Texas to raise awareness and funds for the children’s home. Scott had the honor of being asked to be the first Director for Camp of The Hills which is a camp near Marble Falls, Texas. This camp is a nonprofit camp where children from the inner cities in Texas, who live in impoverished areas, get to see the beauty of God’s Hill Country for the first time in their lives.
As a professional recording artist, Scott has performed for many different events throughout his life. He has performed on stage many times in: Duets, Quartets, Groups, bands (Christian, rock, country, classical, etc.) and as a solo act. Scott has had the privilege of singing for many different distinguished people including 3 past Presidents of our nation. He has had a multiyear contract with a professional recording company, Southern Pro Records and has also helped to record and promote other talents on the radio. Scott has written and holds the copyrights to hundreds of songs and has had one make it to #14 on the charts and more than one on the radio and has co-written songs for other professional singers.
Scott was dubbed the Official Music Director for the Continental Congress and performed at the Texas State Capitol for the Articles of Freedom Rally. He has performed many weddings throughout his 38+ years as a minister. He has also been the photographer, DJ (because he has the best equipment for performing concerts) and singer for many weddings. Often, Scott performs a special song he wrote titled, “Let’s Start Forever Today” at rehearsal dinners, weddings and receptions and also sings songs from other artists upon request.
Scott loves officiating weddings because he feels there are not many things in life more rewarding! He never performs “canned ceremonies”. Scott is a true Wedding Ceremony Consultant where couples reach out to Scott to help them create the ceremony of their dreams even if he is not available to be their Wedding Minister. Your ceremony will be unique, special and cherished! Scott says, “The joy of the occasion and the expressions of love are hard to compare!” He considers it an honor to have a hand in helping two people start off their new life together as husband & wife! Scott says, “I truly love helping people’s dreams to come true!” Every year Scott far surpasses the requirements established by the wedding industry through yearly 5 star reviews of winning the award as the “Top Wedding Minister in all of Austin and the Hill Country”. For the past 11 years in a row the winner of the “Best of Weddings” award and was inducted in the “Hall of Fame”. These multi-year awards are a bride and groom choice awards, which means so much to Scott!
Every month Scott speaks before 2 to 4000 people (Almost 50,000 people a year.). Scott is in the ministry because he loves his Lord, God’s Word and especially The Gospel! To Scott, loving his Lord, loving people and helping them to get ready for eternity is what life's all about! That’s why Scott loves officiating weddings; it’s all about a new life as one which is similar to one becoming a follower of Christ. Scott does not believe in pushing religion on others. He believes in loving people and striving to live a Godly life that may encourage others to look to the Lord for guidance in life, to be, as the Lord says, “a pleasing aroma” “so that in every way to make the teaching about God our Savior attractive” and to strive to “become all things to all people so that by all possible means might save some (2 Cor. 2:15, Titus 2: 10 & 1 Cor 9: 22).
